Backend (DLT) Engineer, Platform Team in Constanţa

You will be building a state-of-the-art DLT-based (R3 Corda) FinTech platform for interbank intraday lending. As a Platform Team member you will be focusing on systems programming, scalability and reliability, and API design.Why us?We are a VC-backed startup. This is our primary QA method.Actively collaborate with your teammates and other stakeholders.Get involved in high-level product and technical decision-making, as well as diving deep into the weeds to unblock those around you.Required skills2-3 years of experience as a Backend or Full-Stack developerBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.Understanding of type systems, performance, and systems design.Experience coding in Kotlin or Scala. Other high-level, strongly typed languages are also considered.Experience building commercial applications using modern technologies.Ability to engage on non-technical topics. You have a passion for building great products, and are constantly pushing to increase your product's impact for its users.Being Independent, proactive and responsible for your actions.Ability to communicate effectively both in written and spoken English (B1+).You can work remotely productively.Nice-to-have skillsKnowledge of Typescript is a plus.Experience or interest in blockchain or distributed ledger technologies (especially Corda).Experience in the financial industry.You have owned the development for a product, and/or helped to set the technical direction for a team of developers.Experience with docker/kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.We embrace Agile principles and follow Scrum framework.Our tech stack includes:TypeScript, React, Redux, Scala, Kotlin, Corda, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab.
