Role Overview: The Bidding Engineer will be responsible for preparing and managing the bidding and procurement processes for projects within the renewable energy and substation sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bidding, procurement, and documentation, with a keen understanding of eligibility criteria for tenders. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of bids for projects in the renewable energy and substation sectors. Develop and manage comprehensive documentation for tenders, ensuring compliance with eligibility criteria. Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to gather necessary information for bid preparation. Analyze project requirements and ensure that all proposals meet client specifications and standards. Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors to obtain competitive pricing and terms. Monitor industry trends and update the bidding process to align with best practices. Review and evaluate bids from suppliers to ensure they meet project requirements. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the competitiveness of bids. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in bidding and procurement within the renewable energy or substation sectors. Strong understanding of tendering processes and documentation requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in relevant software for documentation and project management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
