Billing Analyst in Baia Mare

Job Description We are growing the Billing team!This role is an exciting career opportunity for those who are fluent in English and who aim at fully exploit their knowledge in the finance and accounting fields. The Billing Analyst role is part of the AR & BillingTeam of AtkinsRéalis’ Finance Shared Services Centre.As a Billing Analyst, you will be in charge of issuing client invoices. You will be closely collaborating with project teams in order to obtain all required information, validate client requirements and terms, and ensure the client invoice is issued timely and accurately.ResponsibilitiesProcess and manage billing activities, including invoicing, credit memos, and adjustments, in a timely and accurate manner.Review billing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and contractual terms.Update billing system with new customer information or changes to customer information.Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and issues to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt payment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing-related concerns.Monitor outstanding WIP and work with the Project Manager to ensure timely invoicing and payments.Conduct regular data analysis and reconciliation to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.Assist in month-end closing activities and support the finance team with revenue recognition processes.Ensure the maintenance and organization of billing records and documentation.Contribute to process optimization initiatives to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldProven experience in Accounting or FinanceProficiency in English, French is a plusProficiency in MS Excel or other spreadsheet softwareKnowledge of billing systems or accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP etc.)Proven experience as a Billing Analyst or in a similar role would be advantageous (previous experience in a SSC is a plus)Candidate based in RomaniaProficiency in Romanian languageCapabilities and qualificationsAbility to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.Strong customer service acumenAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Our offer toward work-life balanceWork-from-homeDirect & permanent contractFlexible benefits, at your choice (meal tickets, holiday / cultural vouchers, courses, wellness, etc.)Easter & Christmas bonusesPerformance bonusPrivate clinic medical subscriptionAdditional paid personal days per yearFree French language classesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) > free psychological, financial, or legal counselingInternal career opportunities, Learning & Development programsTeam activities/events, virtual FunWorkOpen & dynamic work environmentFlexible working schedule – organized in 2 shifts: 9:00-17:30 & 10:30 - 19:00Worker TypeEmployeeJob TypeRegularAt AtkinsRéalis, we seek to hire individuals with diverse characteristics, backgrounds and perspectives.
