Responsibilities:

6 to 8 years of experience in working with Back office Fixed or mobile service providers carrying out responsibilities in network operations out of which minimum one or two year into IP NOC environment

Working experience and knowledge of LAN, WAN, Carrier Networks, different hardware and technology platforms. Strong proven knowledge of the Network environment (Service Provider), systems, protocols and services

Responsible resolving tickets received from the front office
-
Forward tickets to next level and ensure that only relevant tickets are forwarded to other functions like other BO and FLM
-
Troubleshooting of known faults/Identified scenarios, where KT is completed.
-
Follow and adhere SLAs and KPIs for Network and Customer complaints.

Coordinate with TAC and FLM teams
-
As a part of change management, do pre/post health checks and co-ordinate change management
-
Raise tickets as a part of problem management for recurring faults
-
Resolve the tickets and incidents by analysis and identification techniques
Qualifications:
-
Excellent diagnostic and network troubleshooting skills.
-
Ability to understand, analyze and resolve problems quickly
-
Proactive attitude to use his/ her initiative to react quickly, to work effectively in emergencies under minimum supervision
-
Self- motivated and capable to work within a strong team environment is essential

Excellent knowledge in Networking like TCP/IP, ARP, IP addressing etc.

Excellent knowledge in Switching and Routing technologies

In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, ISIS)
-
Good understanding of IP/MPLS, MP-BGP, VPNs &VRFs
-
Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
-
Excellent knowledge of Mobile and Fixed Technology

Excellent knowledge of GPON technology and it’s connectivity
-
Should have working knowledge on DSL/DSLAM
-
Good working knowledge of point to point, Frame Relay, ATM, DSL technology
-
Good knowledge in multi-layer Switches and supporting STP, RSTP, PVST, RPVST along with troubleshooting of inter VLAN routing and VLAN trunking using 802. 1q.

Good understanding of MetroE networks and Broadband networks

Have good analytical and technical issue resolution skills
-
Should have good experience of Fault Management , Change Management / Configuration Management

BE/BTech/Diploma with CCNA
-
Fluent Romanian and English
