Job Description
On-site role in Giurgiu, Romania, at client’s shipyard (naval industry).
Perform fabrication, assembly, and installation of ship structures according to shipbuilding drawings and standards.
Cut, bend, shape, and fit steel plates, pipes, and structural components.
Carry out fitting and tack welding to prepare structures for final welding.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
Work closely with welders, pipefitters, and supervisors to complete assigned construction stages.
Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Boilermaker / Ship Fitter in shipbuilding, heavy steel industry, or similar.
Ability to read and interpret shipbuilding drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of steel fabrication, fitting, and welding preparation processes.
Skilled in using cutting, bending, and measuring tools.
Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Languages: English (basic/medium).
Availability to work on-site in Giurgiu; occasional travel may be required.
