Currently Allegro has been expanding to other countries of Europe. You will work in our IT Tech department: “Business Services & Automation”, BSA. In BSA we focus on automations of flows used by Allegro staff (e.g. we develop chatbots, mailbots and robotization) and make sure they are satisfied with the IT service and tools available. We implement the latest tried and tested technologies to support back office processes (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, Genesys, Smartrecruiters, Slack, Zoom, Jira, GitHub, UIPath, ClickUp). Our department has more than 100 experts and engineers on its payroll across 6 teams: IT Support, Digital Workplace, CX Tech, Commerce Tech, HR Tech and Finance Tech. You will work in the Finance Tech team. From the technical side: work closely with such applications like SAP, Teta HR and SmartRecruiters (our HRIS), Google Workspace (including Google Cloud Platform projects), GitHub, SQL databases (MS SQL, Oracle, BigQuery, Snowflake), TIBCO (our enterprise service bus, ESB) and Salesforce CRM. You will be responsible for preparing systems for new and existing integrations, monitoring (with Zabbix and VMware), maintaining both production and non-production environments, the users’ and applications’ licenses and resolving business users’ technical issues, From the business side: work for over 700 users using the Cognos ecosystem applications from a few countries. Our customers are both finance teams (such as accountants, controlling, treasury or consolidation team) and all the managers and team leaders. They use the Cognos ecosystem both for reporting actual, budget and forecast, In your daily work you will handle the following tasks: work on Windows Servers (the older version is 2016, the newest: 2022) on-premise using RDP connections. You will have a local administrator account on the servers. We have 15 virtual machines in the production environment and 5 in non-production. We have about 10 TM1 instances,work using two redundant data centers and work within two Active Directory internal (non-public) domains (in both data centers),have access to VMware, load balancer as a service, DNS as a service and a few more to let you be more independent within the area of Cognos ecosystem,manage, maintain and analyze Cognos ecosystem resources: applications, environments, virtual machines and Active Directory groups, e.g. install, update or migrate applications, set up IIS and Allegro global load balancer (reverse proxy) Cognos endpoints, take care of Wide IP redirects, implement TLS and SSO, plan and do technical maintenance breaks (e.g. for Windows Updates), logs analysis (both Windows, monitoring and applications) and base of it you will create and implement post mortems and adjust our knowledge center,lead and improve a yearly test disaster recovery switchover,often (about a few times a month) work with technical IT teams outside of BSA, like network team, security team, IT architect, different database teams,build integrations with Allegro solutions and ERP class systems (with an IT architect),get chance to unify, automate, and improve our architecture and procedures, including building some dashboard e.g. with users’ license capacity,plan, lead and do a migration of a few of our virtual machines (with software installed on them, monitoring etc.) from Windows Servers to Linux,implement git for a few of our components,manage backups policy and procedures,verify and analyze information from users and create solutions based on business requirements,be responsible for maintaining and managing the infrastructure and security of subordinate systems,maintain applications and be involved in new functionalities/rollouts implementations,be preparing technical documentations and functional specifications We are looking for people who: have experience in administering and configuring Cognos ecosystems,have knowledge of Windows/Linux system administration (with Docker containers and Active Directory), including Batch, PowerShell and Python scripts (including REST API), managing IIS resources and technical analysis of data from SQL databaseshave knowledge of network and security protocols and license management,are familiar with Planning Analytics, CDM and Controller issues,are familiar with Java servers (e.g. Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss) and managing its settings (e.g. Java KeyStories),take responsibility for their topics, pay attention to details, are independent and well organized,show initiative and dynamism in action, they can prioritize tasks,know English on at least B2 level What we offer: A hybrid work model that you will agree on with your leader and the team.
