Business Continuity Advisor in Bucuresti

Working as part of the Global Risk Management team (reporting to the Principal of Global Business Continuity Planning), this role is vital to the preparedness, response and recovery from incidents impacting the organization. What will you contribute? The Business Continuity Planner will work with business leaders, and assigned key contacts on the development, exercising and testing of business continuity plans. Mature and maintain assigned portfolio of BIAs/BCPs to ensure compliance with Business Continuity & Crisis Management programs. Responsibilities & Deliverables · Monitor and manage BCM statistics and reporting. · Work in partnership with various departments, such as Technology Services and Operational units to develop and continuously enhance Business Impact Analysis and associated Business Continuity Plans, ensuring synchronization with Disaster Recovery and other dependencies. · Coordination of regular testing and exercising of Business Continuity Plans; Tabletop Exercises, Work Area Recovery Exercises and Emergency Notification Testing. · Overall project management for all action items and risks identified in the exercising and testing phase · Review and/or develop partner Business Continuity Plans · Capacity to identify risks and controls in the Business Continuity space. · Provide 24/7 on-call support when required for event/crisis management including gathering required information at time of event, engaging appropriate individuals as required, tracking/monitoring/reporting on situation and hosting post event debriefs for program enhancements. · Establish self as Business Continuity expert and trusted partner to facilitate the Business Continuity program. Provide expert advice on the implications of changes of the Plans in place, coordinating changes as necessary. · Provide training to local managers and senior leaders for Business Continuity activities · Collaborate with stakeholders on projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Business Continuity activities. Required Experience/Skills · At least two (2) years of work experience related to Business Continuity Planning, Emergency Management or Crisis Response. · Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (business degree) · Experience in conducting business impact analysis, risk assessments, creating and maintaining business continuity plans, maintaining best practices in the Crisis Management and Business Continuity fields, including cyber and infectious disease planning · Experienced in emergency/crisis management response and recovery efforts · Experience in co-coordinating projects or programs, providing consultation and working with teams on multiple and complex projects under tight timelines · Experience working in the financial and/or technology industry · Relevant certifications (ABCP, CBCP, MBCI etc.) good to have
