Calculation Engineer Job Req ID: 120633 Location: Pitesti, RO, 110101 Work Type: Full time Contract Type: unlimited We are looking for a Calculation Engineer for our Sales Electric BMW Calculation Systems department in Pitesti. Responsibilities: Support cost calculations and cost assessments in the technical calculation of the acquisition phase to series production; Create cost break downs, cost comparisons, benchmarks and Support technical documentation on quotations; Check BOMs as a qualitative / quantitative cost basis; Create cost evaluations in change management according to concrete specifications; Synchronization of technical customer documents with DRX documents to identify technical changes; Recognizing optimization potentials for products/ processes and developing proposals; Support / act as contact person in the preparation of the calculations. Requirements: Academic degree in Engineering, Economics or equivalent; 2-3 years working experience in related fields and experience in working with numbers; Excellent communication skills in English; German language is an advantage; Strong knowledge of Excel; Availability to travel abroad in a limited time measure ; Communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
