For an automotive service provider, we are hiring Car Mechanics for permanent on-site jobs in Germany/Austria/Europe. Willingness to relocate to Germany/Austria is required - we provide full visa sponsorship and relocation assistance. Role & responsibilities Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements. Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs. Work closely with the service team to develop and implement repair strategies, actively participating in the troubleshooting and problem-solving process. Master automotive tools and machinery, including diagnostic scanners, hand tools, and specialized repair equipment. Interpret automotive diagrams and technical manuals to execute repairs and maintenance accurately. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the workshop environment. Requirements Formal technical education of at least 2 years or an academic degree in automotive technology, engineering or a related field. At least 5 years of professional experience as a car mechanic or in a similar role. Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, repair techniques, and maintenance practices. Flexibility, independence, and assertiveness. Systematic and networked way of thinking. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Target-oriented work ethic, capable of performing under pressure. High level of commitment, with strong motivational and team-building skills. Very good command of English. Prior knowledge of German is a plus, but not mandatory. Willingness to learn German to enhance communication with colleagues and clients.
