Webasto is looking for:RESPONSABILITIES: Implementing strategies for negotiating category purchase agreements based on in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets for optimum pricing and terms Purchasing categories in accordance with approved buying programs, using trade judgment in implementation and/or the established procurement policy Ensuring the availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and maintaining the inventory at minimum acceptable levels Supporting/forcing De-Escalation process if suppliers of the panel are escalated Identifies and selects suppliers that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality and delivery Handles relevant purchasing processes (within defined category/program/etc.) in complex category, global/regional environment incl. all Business units (R&C; HS, Batterie/ Charging) Develops, coordinates and implements the purchasing strategy within complex category, regional category/program + aligning needs on global base if global program /supplier are involved Sets-up and develops a strategic supplier base within the defined category/program Coordinates and executes sourcing processes for category/program (supplier selection, RFQ, negotiation, source decision matrix, sourcing committee) Conducts contract negotiations with all suppliers which included in the supplier panel Reviews consistently, supports quality and competitiveness of suppliers and develops corrective actions if needed Coordinates and executes sourcing processes for category (support and steer supplier selection; negotiation; sourcing committee) COMPETENCIES: Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills University degree, technical studies Relevant professional experience Advanced knowledge of purchasing and global market Analytical, interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial thinking and acting Reliable and well-structured way of working Digital affinity Good understanding of Quality processes according the IATF A Plus in benefits With us, you can receive a package of numerous benefits—including flexible working hours, meal tickets, medical insurance for you and your family, development programs, foreign language courses, Christmas and Easter bonuses.
