You’ll help design and operate the hybrid (on-prem + cloud) infrastructure that powers Siemens Energy’s industrial digitalization solutions. With solid experience in Microsoft Azure and working knowledge of GCP and AWS, you’ll contribute to building secure, reliable, and scalable connections between industrial (OT) environments and cloud platforms, enabling data services, analytics, and smarter operations
How You’ll Make an Impact
Support the design and implementation of hybrid architectures connecting edge/on-prem systems with the cloud.Deploy and maintain cloud and edge components for data ingestion, storage, and monitoring.Enable secure OT–IT integrations (VPN, private links, authentication, certificates.Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation practice.Monitor and tune performance, cost, and reliability of deployed environments.Work closely with automation, data, and product teams to bring industrial data into digital platforms.Participate in solution reviews, proposals, and technical discussions with internal and external partners.What You Bring
5+ years crafting, building, and operating cloud/hybrid infrastructure for production systems.3+ years hands-on with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, IAM, monitoring).Exposure to GCP or AWS (some practical experience is welcome, not mandatory).Strong hybrid integration skills: site-to-cloud connectivity, private networking, DNS, certificates, edge/IoT.IaC & DevOps: Terraform (or Bicep/ARM), Git-based workflows, pipelines (, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), artifact registries.Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes/AKS (or similar), registry, ingress, telemetry, backup/DR patterns.Awareness of data flows from OT systems (OPC UA, MQTT, or equivalent)Security-by-design approach (identity, secrets management, policy-as-code, vulnerability management, compliance).Effective collaborator communication with multi-functional and international teams.Degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or proven equivalent experience.Proficient English, knowledge of other languages is an asset.Relevant certifications (Azure, GCP, AWS) are a plus.Familiarity with edge runtimes (Azure IoT Edge, Kubernetes at the edge), time-series/observability stacks.
