CloudAbility ex Apptio Engineer in Constanţa

Project Description The successful candidate will collaborate with application teams throughout the application lifecycle to enhance cost/performance ratios. Additionally, they will engage with Finance & Procurement teams to simplify complex billing data and work closely with Architecture & Design teams, sharing cloud best practices and industrial experience to support key choices and long-term decision-making. Responsibilities Given the challenging timeline, the ideal candidate should work independently, articulate complex information through diagrams to senior management, and demonstrate flexibility with time commitments when required. The main tasks in the CloudAbility migration include: Ensure approvals for using Cloud cost and usage data in CloudAbility. Design and document product usage in POC and navigate the approval process. Set up a POC/POV using development data. Extend the design for production usage and gain stakeholder approval. Connect master billing accounts of each CSP for production usage. Implement LeanIX feed for creating filters for Line of Business and Business units. Filter APP ID from Account/subscription/Project and resource level tags. Connect DataDog for rightsizing. Define budgets with Finance. Set up alerts for budgets, anomaly detection through BigPanda to ServiceNow. Train team members on every aspect of CloudAbility for business user training. Skills Must Have Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform. Proficiency in scripting and coding languages (Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, etc.). Extensive experience with cloud cost management, optimization, and usage data in CloudAbility (ex Apptio). Understanding of cloud cost models, pricing structures, and billing mechanisms. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Adept at budgeting and cost control in cloud environments. Prior experience with incident management and alerting systems is a plus. Nice to Have Good communication skills. XLS - MS Excel Suite.
