We are looking for our Finance Business Partner to join the Eastern European Hub based in Stefanestii de Jos, Bucharest, Ilfov ( hybrid position).
Ideally, you are a Finance Business Partner who combines a solid academic foundation and recognized certifications with significant practical commercial experience and a well-developed set of technical and interpersonal skills. The ability to continuously learn and adapt to market changes is also essential.

The purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance Europe South, the Finance Business Partner for Aggreko Eastern countries (covering both Romania & Poland), will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of Aggreko reporting process, financial control, compliance and performance management. You will be the primary finance point of contact with, ensuring timely and accurate financial data and implementation of best practice governance, systems and controls.
The role is based in Bucharest with recurring visits in the acquired company to work closely with the local Sales, operations and management team.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic financial leadership:
Act as a trusted Business Partner to the Managing Director and leadership team, specifically the 2 country Managers for both Romania & Poland, supporting commercial and strategic decision making
Lead the Aggreko financial and performance reporting processes, including month-end process (IFRS), monthly and quarterly performance reviews, quarterly forecast, and annual Budget cycles.
Business Support to drive Sales & Management team growth pattern
Forster collaboration across departments to increase financial awareness and discipline throughout the business
Financial reporting, systems & Compliance
Support the internal control frameworks (Delegatation of Authority application), Financial Control checklist review etc etc.
Maintain oversight of risk registers and strong financial control environment
Identify and drive improvements in financial systems, reporting and process to enhance visibility, accuracy and automation.
Governance & Risks
Act as a touch point with other Aggreko functions such as Treasury, Tax, and Insurance.
Manage / follow up if statutory account filing & tax / audit with the outsource accounting company and external auditor
This role involves some travelling to neighbouring countries (30%)
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor degree with essential foundations in financial principles, accounting practices, and business operations.
Experience working in a large, multi-national group.
English as a second language.
Experience of setting up new accounting and reporting frameworks.
Technical skills: Financial modeling, data analysis (advanced Excel, BI tools like Power BI or Tableau), knowledge of ERP systems (Salesforce).Deep understanding of IFRS and experience producing / managing statutory accounts
Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication (ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences), strategic thinking, influencing skills, problem-solving, and strong relationship-building abilities, open-minded and creative, strong team player, strong communication skills, drive process improvements
