Job Description Quest Global is a global market leader in diversified engineering solutions and one of the global, reliable and long-term partners of numerous companies in the field of Transportation, Aerospace & Defense, Aero Engines, Industrial & Hi-Tech, Medical Devices, Oil & Gas and Power.SHAPE THE FUTURE WITH USWe offer you a motivating environment with exciting projects and would appreciate to welcome you in our team as a:Configuration Manager Actuator ECU (m/f/d)We are looking for a professional Configuration Manager to perform configuration management activities for the new generation of smart actuators for famous German OEMs, on various domains like gearbox, seatbelt, 4WD systems.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Configuration Manager will be responsible for designing and maintaining the configuration management on the project, according to the automotive standards and customer needs.PRINCIPAL TASKS• Document a configuration management (CM) concept that spans the complete development cycle that references industry best practice and supports the use of Agile Methodology.• Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP)• Define, implement, manage version control and processes• Define the branching strategy• Identify, plan and control the configuration items in the CI list• Conducting Configuration Reviews to include requirements, problem reports, defects and bug reports• Support configuration audit• Identify, draw and communicate baselines• Customize and maintain the project environment• Handle rights management for project related tools and resources• Maintain the project inventory list• Provide guidance to engineers on the Configuration Management Processes they need to follow.• Deliver products and documentation to customer specified quality management process and in general to automotive quality management system (ASPICE)SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION• At least 2+ years relevant experience in Configuration Management• Experience with automotive development processes (ASPICE)• Experience with version control (e.g. PTC, GIT, SVN)• Experienced in task-tracking tools (PTC, JIRA)• Experience with documentation tools (Confluence)• Experienced in scripting (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.).• Self-motivated, with an aptitude to problem solve and drive difficult issues to conclusion• Excellent communication (oral & written) & interpersonal skills• Experience in writing technical reports/ documentation• English language is mandatory.DESIREABLE• Experience in automotive SW development• Experience with release handling• Experience with German OEMsOur benefits• Powerful teams, open and friendly working atmosphere as well as flat hierarchies• Exciting projects at a high technological level• Flexible working hours / WFH (remote)• Further training and development opportunities Job Type Full Time-Regular Experience Level Mid Level Total Years of Exp 2+
