The Corporate Logistics Department at Siemens Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Digital and Innovation team. In this role, you will collaborate across functions to deliver actionable insights that shape business strategy and decision-making. Responsibilities include consolidating and analyzing data, applying statistical techniques to improve data quality and extract insights, identifying trends, and creating impactful visualizations. You will also act as a key contact for business stakeholders, translating requirements into effective data solutions that support strategic goals.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Collect, integrate, and validate data from multiple sources to create analysis-ready datasets. Apply statistical techniques to improve data quality and extract actionable insights. Perform ad hoc analyses and develop standard reports, dashboards, and metadata for accessibility. Monitor key business metrics to identify trends, issues, and optimization opportunities. Act as the primary contact for business stakeholders, translating requirements into effective data solutions. Communicate findings and recommendations through clear, impactful visualizations and presentations. Establish best practices for data governance, pipeline management, and tool utilization. Promote data literacy and train colleagues on business intelligence self-service tools. Leverage AI tools to accelerate work and share best practices across teams. What You Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or technology-related field. Project management / agile certifications / Business Intelligence certifications a plus 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools. Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Alteryx and SnapLogic. Good working knowledge of SQL and database extraction principles. Knowledge of Snowflake platform for data storage and analytics. Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Excel including VBA, SharePoint online, Power Automate, Power Apps). Experience of using SAP Data services would be beneficial. Demonstrated ability to apply analytical methodologies and statistical techniques. Creative thinker able to identify patterns and trends others may overlook. Ability to identify and engage with colleagues in data and technical communities within the company to foster collaboration and exchange technological advancements. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a global, virtual team and manage competing priorities in a structured and methodical manner.
