PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The Office of Ethics & Compliance (OEC) is a part of the Office of CEO Board Area, and reports to both SAP SE’s Global CEO and the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board. Our mission is to address the risks faced by SAP as a result of anti-bribery and corruption and to investigate fraud of a substantial and criminal nature. The OEC is responsible for various SAP compliance initiatives, including oversight and support of the SAP Code of Business Conduct, employee compliance training and communications, and the global governance document framework. We also monitor and enforce compliance. Our focus includes compliance with the FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), UK Bribery Act, and other global anti-corruption and bribery laws, plus anti-competition compliance (in tandem with the field legal organization). EXPECTATIONS AND TASKSThe Data Analyst will act as the Center of Expertise on Data Analysis and Analytics within OEC. The role will support data mining requests from OEC colleagues, support various data analytics initiatives, and provide consultation to OEC colleagues when there are general queries on common SAP systems and data. The successful candidate should have profound experience of at least one of SAP’s core systems and is well-versed in understanding the data model.The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include: Performing data mining based on requests from OEC teams Contributing to the compliance analytics projects with expertise on data models Acting as the regional central point of contact within OEC for queries on systems, data and reports Supporting current OEC tools and systems where necessary Working independently and in teams on topics, while setting priorities, having sole and joint responsibility Providing regular project / system status updates The position reports to the Head of OEC Technology Solutions. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Full proficiency with the English language is required Bachelor’s Degree in data science, business, finance, IT or equivalent work experience Proficiency with SQL and knowledge with SAP ECC/ERP, CRM will be a must, while experience with SAP BW & PRM is advantageous Hands-on with great attention to details with ability to do in-depth research and to interpret written guidelines and documents Proactive, dynamic and result-driven individual Ability to work with international, virtual teams with sensitivity to cultural differences Following experience is not a must but will definitely be a plus / pluses Creating ID&A reports Using analytics tools such as R, predictive analytics Applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to business scenarios Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an advantage WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years as Data Scientist, SAP System Admin, Database Management, or Data Analyst Project Management and operational oversight experience are both required Experience implementing solutions featured by Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence is highly preferred BENEFITS We offer: full time permanent employment, competitive salary and performance bonus, transportation allowance, pension plan, medical and life insurance, lunch allowance, possibility to invest in SAP shares We are SAP SAP innovations help more than 400,000 customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
