Whatever we do, we do it well and we make changes that matter. How could you help us do this? We need a Deal Desk International colleague to join our team in Bucharest and to help us assist and support the Sales teams on standard /low/medium complex deals and assist the broader Commercial Operations team members on the high complex deals and related processes in general.What kind of work would you be doing? Monitor queue for open “deal approval request” and ensure these are being take care of; review and understand the deal set-up, submit for deal-approval to the correct stakeholders as per Approval Matrix;For standard/low/medium complex deals, advise sales population in EMEA on complete contractual paperwork for correct revenue accounting conform IFRS accounting ruling in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and SEC ruling, including management reporting to local management and EMEA HQ;Focal point between customers, business units, sales population, rev rec, legal, regional management, order fulfilment, local financial management, general management for standard/low/medium complex deals;Build and maintain knowledge about Micro Focus and general business policies (approval matrix, IRFS revenue recognition, etc.);Assisting with Commission / bonus calculations and payments for all departments participating in the sales plan of MF occasionally;Daily tasks:Understand low/medium complex proposals and contracts for software offerings conform Micro Focus guidelines and procedures;Add low/medium complex clauses (alike pre-stated purchase options, 3rd party usage rights etc.) to standard Micro Focus paperwork; Take ownership of the full deal approval process for standard/low/medium complex deals;Understand and maintain knowledge about business control processes according to revenue recognition, opportunity management, solution design & delivery including pricing and proposals, as per corporate policies;Communicate and educate Software sales teams and standard/low/medium complex offerings (including standard contract terms & conditions and pricing);Facilitate the broader Deal Operations team on complex deals;We will give you the tools and support you need to shape this role to make it your own and to be successful! What achievements should you have so far? We think in order to add immediate value and to succeed in this role, you should have a first level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree is preferred.Typically, 3-5 years of experience in a business-related function (in Software industry), alike Finance, Legal, Sales Support, Accounting, Order Management.If you also have expert knowledge and skills with business applications (e.g., Excel, Salesforce), great!What about you? This is the most important part!
