Development Project Manager - Renewable Energy (Wind Farms) in Bucuresti

Job Description Antal International, on behalf of their client, one of Europe's leading developers of renewable energy sources, is looking for: Development Project Manager – for Wind farms Main Responsibilities • Managing and optimizing the development of multiple projects from project ideation to full authorization. Responsible for development matters (authorization) in the sales and construction phases of projects. • Establishing the budget and execution schedule. Project management to ensure good quality within budget constraints and timeline. • Setting project development strategy to optimize development based on project-specific conditions. • Managing risks throughout project development to proactively secure a project that is buildable and attractive to the market. • Leading the project team for each project, consisting of both internal resources and external consultants. • Managing and procuring services from external consultants and lawyers. • Obtaining all relevant permits, authorizations, licenses, certificates, and administrative documents for the project (Urban Planning Certificate, Site Location Approvals, AACR Approvals, Technical Connection Approvals, Environmental Approvals and/or Agreements, Construction Permit, Establishment Permit, Producer License, etc.). • Network connection approvals and contracts for connection to the electricity distribution or transmission network. • Obtaining land together with the land manager from the project team. • Stakeholder management – establishing a communication plan and ensuring good relationships with stakeholders such as municipalities, county councils, authorities, local associations, communities, and landowners. • Conducting Due Diligence for power plant projects. • Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation. • Staying informed about the market in general and particularly with any other power plant projects in the area of responsibility. • Continuously seeking opportunities for new projects. • Professionally acting at all times and maintaining the attitude of an ambassador for our client’s company.
