As a member of the Vodafone Network Operations Software Development team your main focus will be to design, implement and maintain a Development- and Continuous Delivery platform for software written in Python. You enable highly agile and automated inhouse software development for Vodafone Network Operations Digital. You help to provide the required state of the art and industry standard environments on a centralized platform for both developers and data scientists. This includes the whole Delivery chain from automated development environments, automated testing and monitoring to automated delivery and if required deployment. Your solutions will provide the tools and processes necessary enable DevOps solution development to achieve improved operational efficiency and customer experience in Vodafone Network Operations. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in the Software Development environment. You will be involved in all parts of the project, from solution design to deployment and maintenance, thus taking ownership of your products.Develop solutions together in an interdisciplinary team of data engineers, software developers and system specialists, and take over professional leadership functions in a team.With these activities you will have a great impact on our businessImplement the necessary CI/CD tools within the central development platform to build automated CI/CD pipelines including development environment, testing, monitoring and deploymentDefine the roadmap and strategy for development tools (CI/CD, IDE, repository, …)Work closely with developers to provide a productive and user-friendly environmentStrive to provide one-klick environments and deployment solutions Maintain and evolve the infrastructure and toolsManage the operations of the infrastructure with internal and external suppliersWith these skills you are a great candidate:University degree in computer science, software engineering or comparable qualification.Know-How in on-prem and Cloud CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, Sentry, Git, ADO, JFrog, Whitesource, Opensearch)Problem solving and solution-oriented thinkingKnow-how in cloud technologies and KubernetesExperience in Agile Software Development and DevOps Strong programming knowledge Fluent in English.Sounds like the perfect job?
