DevOps Engineer with Database Expertise
Mission
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud technologies and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), coupled with a solid understanding of database systems. This hybrid role will support the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and database services within a large-scale corporate environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in DevOps, with a track record of automating, monitoring, and managing infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and ARM templates, primarily within Azure Public Cloud and Azure Local (formerly Azure HCI) ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, and other modern DevOps tools.

Work across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and database teams to streamline CI/CD processes and drive infrastructure automation.

Support and monitor key database systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) from a DevOps perspective, focusing on integration, uptime, and basic performance optimization.

Optimize infrastructure cost and efficiency while upholding security and compliance standards.

Serve as a key escalation point for infrastructure and database integration-related incidents.

Assist project teams with environment setup and technical delivery.

Contribute to internal documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement efforts.
Your Profile
- +2-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.

Proven experience with Azure Public Cloud, Azure Local (Azure HCI), and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Strong command of Terraform and ARM templates for resource provisioning and automation.

Working knowledge of at least one major database system (Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra) from an infrastructure/integration standpoint.

Solid understanding of operating systems, particularly Windows (Linux experience is a plus).

Experience navigating complex, large-scale enterprise IT environments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
