Description and Requirements
Lenovo Solutions & Services Group (SSG) is expanding its cloud‑native and AI‑enabled platforms and is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and operate secure, scalable, and automated engineering pipelines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that security is embedded by design while enabling continuous delivery for highly distributed, data‑intensive systems. You will collaborate closely with Backend, Frontend, and AI/ML engineering teams in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls and automationEmbed DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring security by designDesign and secure cloud‑native, containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and HelmAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) principlesImplement and operate secure secrets management, access controls, and identity modelsBuild and maintain observability, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliabilityManage software release pipelines, artifact storage, promotion, and deployment workflowsPartner with engineering teams to improve DevOps maturity, security awareness, and operational excellence
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldMinimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related roleHands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, or BitbucketStrong experience with containers and orchestration technologies including Docker and KubernetesSolid understanding of secure SDLC principles, DevSecOps methodologies, and cloud‑native architecturesProficiency in scripting and automation using Python and BashExperience working in distributed, cross‑functional, and international engineering teamsProfessional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)
