Position Summary:As a Senior C++ Developer in System Lifecycle Linux team, you will have the opportunity to develop a part of innovative software for automotive industry. System Lifecycle team is responsible for controlling the general lifetime of the ECU as well as of each and any application, ensuring correct bring-up and shutdown, incorrect termination handling and data persistence.Job Responsibilities: Fulfilling this role, you will be involved in and responsible for the following activities:Read and assimilate know-how of software specifications, architecture and design documents of the system.Develop, maintain and improve software components and services used by the infotainment system (C++/Linux).Participate in code review sessions.Issue analysis and fixing, unit tests and maintenance tasks for delivered software components.Able to read, understand and correct someone else’s code.Close cooperation with SW architects and external suppliers/teams.System monitoring, profiling, and optimization regarding startup/shutdown.Basic Qualifications: In order to fulfill this role, you are required to have the following qualifications:Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant (IT connected) specializations.At least 3 years of professional experience in software development in C/C++, preferably with focus on embedded Linux and/or Android systems.Highly skilled in C/C++ and shell programmingFamiliar with Linux system configuration (systemd, dbus, udev, kernel configuration, …)Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jamfiles, Bamboo, CI/CD toolsPreferred Qualifications: In order to fulfill this role, it will be a plus if you have the following qualifications:Experience with infotainment / entertainment systems would be a big plusExpertise regarding GENIVI Lifecycle-Management.Familiar with LUAKnowledge regarding set up of embedded Linux distributions using Open Embedded / Yocto / bitbakeEligibility Requirements: In order to be eligible for this role, you must be:Comfortable in working within international teams, fluent English communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to speak clearly and fluently and to lead technical discussions.Very good interpersonal skills, cooperative and good team workerAbility to present your current work status to both technical and non-technical personsOrganized, autonomous
