As part of our commitment to excellence and innovation in learning, we are seeking a skilled and passionate LMS (Learning Management System) Platform Manager and Administrator to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the management and enhancement of our custom Moodle-based LMS platform. Location: Fully Remote Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Central European Time), with a 1-hour break Salary: From USD 2800. VAT 0%. Payment in USD Contract Duration: Initial offer for 3 months, with the possibility of extension up to 2 years based on mutual satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and administer the Moodle-based LMS, ensuring efficient operation and accessibility on the admin side. Set up courses, virtual workshops, and presentations, manage user roles, and oversee a calendar of LMS activities. Generate and analyze reports on course performance, user engagement, and other metrics. Facilitate communication with tutors, coordinate course tutoring, and provide necessary support. Conduct LMS testing to identify and resolve technical issues. Manage student enrollment and onboarding, serving as the first point of contact for technical issues. Develop and implement LMS communication strategies, conduct user surveys, and create newsletters. Design and deliver virtual training sessions for platform managers and key users, and provide ongoing support. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in LMS platform management and administration, preferably with Moodle. Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience in training and support. Ability to analyze data and generate insightful reports. Experience in managing virtual events and fostering a supportive learning environment. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver projects on schedule. Bachelor's degree in any field At least 3 years of work experience in IT-related fields English proficiency, other languages (French, Russian or Spanish) are an asset The duties are as follows: LMS Platform Management and Administration Oversee and administer the Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring efficient operation and accessibility – on the admin side. Set up courses, virtual workshops and virtual presentations including the creation of course instances and addition of user roles (instructors, students, administrators, managers). Manage a calendar for events for all LMS activities and perform set up and closing duties in line with the calendar, Generate, compile and analyze reports on course performance, user engagement, and other relevant metrics. Facilitate communication with tutors, providing necessary support and coordinating on course tutoring. Conduct testing of the LMS to identify technical issues; report and follow up on these issues with the technical team for resolution. Student Management Manage the enrollment process for students, ensuring smooth onboarding to the LMS platform. Serve as the first point of contact for students experiencing technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Maintain open lines of communication with students to foster a supportive learning environment. Communications and Reporting Develop and implement strategies for basic communications related to the LMS platform, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information. Collect and analyze data on platform usage, including statistics on user numbers, engagement levels, and course completion rates. Conduct surveys among current users to gather feedback on the LMS experience, using insights to drive improvements. Create and distribute newsletters to keep all stakeholders informed about updates, new features, and other relevant information. Training and Support Design and deliver virtual training sessions for LMS platform managers and other key users, utilizing tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
