About you You have at least 2 years of commercial experience as a software tester, preferably in embedded software area.You know Python well enough to use it to automate testing processesYou have at least basic understanding of electronics and you can use the equipment like multimeter and power supplyYou understand modern software development process.You pay attention to details and you think in a critical and analytical way. You are ready for demanding tasks of setting up test environments by yourself. Your role Testing firmware of a prosthetic hand and other devices manufactured by the companyMaintaining the integration tests framework written in PythonWriting test specificationsAutomating test proceduresImproving the process of firmware development Technologies used The prosthesis firmware is written in C and it runs on STM32 microcontrollersThe supporting PC application is web based.Unit tests for the prosthesis firmware are written using the Ceedling framework.We have a custom framework for integration tests using hardware-in-the-loop, written in PythonFor versioning we use Git and Bitbucket Pipelines for CI.
