Position Description:
We are seeking an Essbase Specialist to provide Level 3 support and administration for our Essbase environments. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, optimization, and ongoing development of Essbase applications used for business and financial reporting. A minimum B2 level in French is required to work directly with French-speaking teams.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
▪ Provide Level 3 support for Essbase applications, including incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
▪ Administer and optimize Essbase environments to ensure stability, scalability, and efficient performance.
▪ Design, develop, and maintain Essbase cubes in line with business and reporting requirements.
▪ Manage and automate data integrations and data loads from multiple source systems.
▪ Support and troubleshoot Essbase Financial Reporting, Smart View, and user access issues.
▪ Monitor system health, apply preventive maintenance, and implement improvements.
▪ Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align Essbase solutions with business needs.
▪ Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and configurations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
▪ Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Essbase administration and development.
▪ Proven experience providing Level 3 application support in a production environment.
▪ Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
▪ Experience with ETL and data integration tools such as ODI or DataStage.
▪ Solid understanding of Essbase Financial Reporting and Smart View.
▪ French proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.
▪ Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
