Line of ServiceAssuranceIndustry/SectorNot ApplicableSpecialismRisk ArchitectureManagement LevelAssociateJob Description & SummaryAbout The RoleYou will support develop strategies to increase the reliability of system outputs, enhancing systemssecurity and integrity, and developing strategies for ongoing maintenance.How will you value add?Be part of delivering security projects for our clients and support them in their desire to protect thebusiness.Perform technical security assessments such as penetration testing, source code review, securitysystem configuration on various cyber assets including web, mobile, network and Internet of Thingsdevices as well as Red Team engagements for PwC clients.Help develop internal tools and enhance our methodology to better deliver client needs.Deliver client engagements effectively and efficiently as team memberArticulate and present security vulnerabilities fluently in both written and verbal forms to clients’stakeholders.About youA recognized university degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, InformationTechnology or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience in performing penetration tests, securedesign and code reviews.Being skilful in using and interpreting results from common security tools including but not limitedto the Burp Suite, Nessus, Kali Linux, etc.Familiarity with industry standard classification schemes such as CVE, CVSS, CWE, CAPEC. Familiaritywith MAS TRM guidelines.Experience with basic to intermediate working knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows, network devices,firewalls, web and/or mobile application developments.Be able to conduct and simulate manual penetration tests.Willing to develop tools or scripts as necessary so as to create proof-of-concept in challengingengagements. Be able to code at least in one scripting language such as Python, PowerShell or BashPossess strong analytical mind in analysing and verifying findings from security tools.Passionate about security.Interested to conduct security research as necessary to discover criticalhidden vulnerabilities.Possess relentless self-motivation and passion to explore new technologies, learn new penetration testing techniques and tools,and circumvent security controls imposed in hardened applications.Possess good interpersonal communication skills and helping mind in team-oriented environment.Be fluent in English (German would be a plus).If you do not have the experience but this job is appealing to you, you can still reach out to us andwe will explore your opportunities.
