Position Description:
We are looking for an Expert PHP Developer with extensive experience in building and designing complex web applications. The role involves leading technical decisions, designing scalable system architectures, and developing robust backend and frontend solutions. A very good command of French is required, as the position includes direct communication with French-speaking stakeholders.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using PHP;
• Define and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures;
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions;
• Develop frontend components using jQuery and integrate them with backend services;
• Review and improve existing codebases to ensure quality and performance;
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards;
• Collaborate with product, QA, and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
•Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• At least 7 years of professional experience in PHP development;
• Expert-level knowledge of PHP and solid experience with modern PHP frameworks;
• Strong experience with jQuery and frontend development;
• Proven expertise in system design and software architecture;
• Strong understanding of relational databases, APIs, and application security principles;
• Experience with version control systems such as Git;
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently;
• Very good command of French, both written and spoken.
