This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with significant field experience who can ensure the successful Installation and commissioning of AIS, GIS and power transformer projects. During your training phase at electrical substations or one of our training centers, you will be prepared for your future tasks as a supervisor. This preparation includes leading the installation and commissioning of Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) HV equipment, overseeing the assembly of large power transformers, and conducting maintenance and repairs of switchgear and power transformers according to manufacturer procedures.
How you will make an Impact:
Supervise the installation, assembly of high-voltage AIS, GIS and power transformers at various project sites across Europe. Review the readiness for commissioning activities for power transformer, ensure proper handover of assembly prior commissioning Perform final assembly after testing and make power transformer ready for energizing Work along subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and implement solutions. Ensure compliance with European safety standards and regulations. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports. Provide hands-on training and support to crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure project milestones are met. Solve technical issues on-site to minimize downtime and ensure project continuity. What you Bring:
Good experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage equipment. Proven expertise in carrying out procedures from receiving high-voltage equipment on site to putting it into operation. Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail, committed to achieving results Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, engineers, and team members. Trainings or certifications in Electrical /Mechanical/Mechatronics/Metal industry/ Energy technology or a related field. Willingness to travel extensively across Romania and Europe (80% of time) Ability to communicate in English with colleagues and subcontractors Valid car license
