We are currently looking for an experienced File Transfer Engineer to collaborate with one of our clients, a global leader in financial services. Your responsibilities will involve: Oversee the deployment and upkeep of File Transfer software on both Linux and Windows platforms . Play a role in shaping the application design and deploying File Transfer configurations on Linux, Windows, IBM Mainframe, and HP Nonstop . Participate in our 3rd level support rotation to ensure continuous service support during both daytime and overnight hours. Contribute to defining and enhancing the implementation of File Transfer services. Collaborate with our business stakeholders to facilitate the onboarding of external parties, including clients, data providers, partners, agents, etc. Provide support to colleagues through coaching and knowledge-sharing. We seek individuals who possess: Eagerness to learn and exchange knowledge with colleagues, both within the squad and among consumers of File Transfer services, including teams responsible for application development, testing, and IT operations. Experience in handling uncertainty and complexity, coupled with an inclination to explore opportunities for enhancing existing procedures and processes within the domain. A client and results-oriented mindset, emphasizing quality. Ability to take ownership of actions to resolve conflicts, with an appropriate level of support from peers and/or management. English at a level sufficient for working in the IT field. Experience working in squads utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies. Required Technical Skills: Experience in the management and support of IBM Sterling Software, including Connect:Direct, Connect:Express, Sterling B2B Integrator/File Gateway, and IBM Control Center. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in managing Middleware systems operating on both Linux and Windows platforms. Preferably, proficiency in scripting languages used with Ansible/Tower. Familiarity with security considerations, networking, system availability, and performance. Some experience with Mainframe and HP Nonstop platforms.
