Finance Controller in Constanţa

Finance Controller is a key player in our team, has high exposure and cooperates with international stakeholders.The position reports to the Country Accounting Manager and can be based in Constanta or Bucharest.Key responsibilities:Ensure job costing controls are followed and a proper mindset on Revenue Assurance and standards is in placePrepare and control Profit and Loss account and Balance sheet; AP/AR and stock controlEnsure correct and efficient monthly closing and reporting processes; minimize and control the manual accruals, various reports and checks necessary for the monthly closing processesMonthly budget follow-up and participation in budget process preparation and overall accounting and trial balance controlling for the local legal entitySupport profitability analysis, review GP of jobs daily with the ultimate goal that each and every job shows the most accurate GP according to buying/selling ratesPerform GL account reconciliation and 3rd parties’ reconciliation, reviews General Ledger on a regular basis and create new ledger accounts when neededCollaborate with the company’s internal and external auditors, operational teams and area Finance Business Partners; provide effective resolution of deficiencies and/or audit findingsPerform Risk and Compliance assessment to ensure necessary documentary evidence, records are created and provided as required in the RICC Manual, fraud guidelines and other applicable APMM guidelinesWho we are looking for:You have at least 5 years of experience in Finance and a deep understanding of the local market and regulations1-2 years of experience in Controlling (in a logistics field is an asset)Strong MS Excel skills (SAP knowledge is an advantage)Strong analytical thinking, task and results-oriented, able to focus and work with high attention to detail even with tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levelsAdvanced knowledge of English (Romanian is an advantage)University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldsIf you have been reading so far, we are glad to see you are interested!
