As part of the Digitalization Team in the Finance department of the Grid Solutions Execution Unit, you will play a key role in driving the adoption and integration of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions. You will help automate manual processes, develop data-driven use cases, including building predictive models, and integrate AI capabilities into our broader digital tooling landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically driven early-career professional eager to shape the future of finance through technology.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Take ownership of the technical development and deployment of machine learning and statistical models to address business challenges in finance operations and processes. Ensure the effective integration of model results into existing solutions and present them through user-friendly dashboard products for end users. Drive the technical implementation and maintenance of AI-powered agents and automation tools based on requirements provided by business owners, ensuring seamless integration with current finance systems and workflows. Perform deep analytics on financial and operational data, applying advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling to uncover meaningful patterns, trends, and actionable insights that support informed decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technology partners to support the integration of AI solutions into digital platforms and tools. Stay informed about trends and advancements in AI, ML, and automation relevant to finance, and apply relevant knowledge to ongoing projects. Document technical solutions and contribute to user training and knowledge sharing within the team. What You Bring
Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments. Proficient in Python (or similar programming languages) and familiar with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, TensorFlow, and PyTorch; some experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Snowflake is a plus. Familiarity with process automation tools (, Power Automate) is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Demonstrates a growth mindset and a proactive approach to technical challenges. Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to digital and AI transformation within a finance environment. Good communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
