YOUR MISSION
This role is at the center of decision-making, where you will directly influence how Glovo invests and grows in the market. With full P&L ownership, you'll not only manage the financials but also provide strategic insights that will guide the company's direction.
THE JOURNEY
Develop and/or maintain insightful management reports and analysis about the overall company performance and provide professional advice in relation to operational performanceGather input from multiple departments and translat them into budgets, forecasts and long-term plans, defining and monitoring financial & operational targets to steer company's performanceBe involved in management control: definition of procedures and the design of budget processesPrepare & present frequent finance reports and analyses (P&L and cost-saving plans) along with justifications of data, forecasts, and deviationsStudy the viability of investment project and strategic reorientationAssess new business opportunities and new vertical developments and changesIncubate and lead the launch of new financial projectsQualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
Academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Mathematics (ACCA/CPA Certification would be considered an advantage)Extensive experience in financial performance, Finance Consulting, Investment Banking or FP&A rolesStrong Budgeting and forecasting skillsExperience of working in Commercial Finance in the E-commerce or FMCG industry will be considered a plusAdvanced MS Excel Skills (pivot tables, sumifs, vlookup, Charts etc) & Google WorkspaceKnowledge of the English language (advanced)Strong problem-solving skills; you are hypothesis-driven & looking for data to drive decisionsHighly organised and detail-oriented approach, you are able to maintain and deliver on time multiple project simultaneouslyHigh levels of professionalism, initiative, energy, creativity and flexibilityKnowledge of local accounting and tax standards (Local GAAP)Individuals representing diverse profiles, and abilities, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
