As a Controlling Professional within Gas Services, you will provide critical financial guidance and support, contributing to the financial performance and strategic decision-making of the Middle East operations
This ensures comprehensive financial oversight, from budgeting and forecasting to providing actionable insights for management and maintaining regulatory adherence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead annual budgeting, monthly/quarterly forecasting, long‑term financial planning, and all month‑end/year‑end closing activities for the Middle East region while ensuring data integrity and adherence to internal controls, regulations, and governance standards. Perform detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, analyze profitability by project/customer/service line, and identify key financial drivers, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas with actionable commentary. Develop, maintain, and leverage complex financial models to support business cases, investment appraisals, strategic initiatives, and alternative scenario planning, including forward‑looking guidance on market and competitor dynamics. Act as the primary financial advisor to Middle East business leaders, translating complex financial data into clear insights, supporting strategic planning, and collaborating with operational teams to align financial plans with business realities. Prepare and deliver accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for regional and corporate management, utilizing SAP, Power BI, and other BI tools to automate reporting, enhance visualization, and improve efficiency. Coach and review the work of junior professionals, fostering financial acumen across the team and broader business while supporting cross‑functional collaboration and capability building
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in controlling, FP&A, or finance business partnering. Proven ability to work independently on complex financial topics and manage projects or processes with limited supervision. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, supported by significant hands‑on experience as a finance business partner. Proficiency in SAP and BI tools, along with strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills to operate effectively in a complex, international environment. Skilled in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to organize information clearly and logically; excellent English written and verbal communication. Demonstrates integrity, respect, curiosity, teamwork, and the ability to build trust‑based relationships, with a solid understanding of business complexities in a global setting.
