Job Description
On-site role in Giurgiu, Romania, at client’s shipyard (naval industry).
Install, assemble, and test firefighting pipe systems on board vessels according to shipbuilding drawings and standards.
Prepare, cut, bend, and fit pipes, valves, pumps, and sprinkler components for the fire network system.
Ensure alignment and sealing of pipes according to technical specifications.
Collaborate with welders, supervisors, and quality teams to ensure proper execution of works.
Conduct functional tests and inspections of fire protection systems in compliance with naval safety standards.
Follow and enforce safety procedures (PPE, fire permits, prevention plans) during all activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role in shipbuilding, industrial fire systems, or similar.
Knowledge of firefighting network standards (pipes, valves, sprinklers, pumps).
Skilled in pipe preparation (cutting, bending, threading, fitting).
Languages: English (basic/medium).
Availability to work on-site in Giurgiu; occasional travel may be required.
