Focused Account Manager

(Key Account Manager)

We’re now hiring a Focused Account Manager for our OEM&FA Department—this team develops business with both key aftermarket partners and original equipment manufacturers.

You will be responsible for strategically growing and securing business with key account customers across Romania by delivering significant value and implementing SKF’s vision and strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans and business activities for Key Account customers, aligned with SKF’s global direction
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders (including Territory Sales, Customer Service, Distributors, Application Engineers, and Global Key Account Managers)
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, customer dynamics, future opportunities, and competitor activity
  • Innovate new business models that enhance customer experience and build sustainable growth
  • Implement initiatives to boost customer satisfaction
  • Share insights, learnings, and success stories across teams
  • Establish strategic goals and actionable plans for each Key Account, with consistent follow-up
  • Lead negotiations for corporate contracts and cross-border projects in coordination with local and global sales teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers within our major Key Accounts
  • Champion best practices in Sales Excellence and ensure optimal allocation of resources
  • We expect you to have/be

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering from a Technical University
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industrial sector
  • Proficient skills in sales, negotiation, and presentations
  • Effective communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to travel within your designated territory minimum 3 days a week
  • A forward-thinking approach that emphasizes continuous learning and organizational expansion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Valid driving license (Category B)
  • Professional fluency in Romanian and English, both written and verbal
