The new R&D Center in Bucharest focuses on developing innovative solutions for high performance measurement devices in cutting-edge areas of fixed and mobile networks (CATV, Copper, Ethernet, Optical, 5G).

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled FPGA Engineers to join our team developing state of the art Communications Test & Measurement products. Successful candidates will help architect and implement high-speed FPGA designs, using Verilog or VHDL and cutting-edge simulation, synthesis, place and route, and verification tools.

You will have a great opportunity to utilize your technical skills to help solve complex technical problems and execute on projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Development Skills:

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering;
  • FPGA design experience using Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL; High speed (> 100MHz) is preferred;
  • Simulation experience using Aldec Riviera, Mentor Graphics Modelsim/ Questasim, or similar tools;
  • Experience using Xilinx or Intel PSG (formerly Altera) FPGA devices and implementation tools;
  • Version control experience using Git, Subversion, CVS or similar tools;
  • Experience using an Agile-based development process, preferably some flavor of Scrum, on multiple projects;
  • Effective English written and oral communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of 10G/100G/400G Ethernet, Fiber Channel (FC), TCP/IP, PCIe, SAS, LTE, 5G protocols, CPRI, OBSAI, SONET/SDH etc is preferred;
  • General purpose microprocessor and DSP systems, high-speed digital board design, PLL design, and analog signal conditioning experience a plus.
