Testing (regular) REST API (regular) TypeScript (regular) JavaScript (regular) React (advanced) CitizenShipper is looking for talented professionals to join our growing team.What we are looking for:5+ years experience building single page applications with ReactExcellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)Excellent knowledge of Typescript and a preference for static typingExperience with testing frameworks and a strong desire to write a lot of testsExperience with both REST as well as GraphQL APIsAble to bring up a new application from scratch to fulfill product requirementsFluent in English (candidates who cannot communicate in English will be rejected)Good team playerStrong communication skillsAbility to mentor less experienced colleaguesSelf-motivated and proactiveIn your role you will:Build and maintain our frontend applications Collaborate with backend developers to integrate the app with the APIs our backend services provideTranslate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that will produce visual elements of the applicationWork with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it worksEnsure the design and implementation are optimized for smartphonesDevelop new user-facing featuresOptimize our applications for performance and scalabilityCommunicate with the rest of the development team dailyCollaborate with other stakeholdersBonus points for:Experience with working remotelyExperience with Node.js or other backend developmentExperience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Gitlab CIPassionate about functional programmingProven experience developing and building applications (github link on repo)About UsAs a share-economy transportation marketplace, CitizenShipper connects people who need items delivered with the drivers able to complete the delivery.
