We are looking for an experienced Full-stack Software Engineer who has a great knowledge of back-end and front-end software written in modern technologies related to JavaScript, TypeScript, database & cloud technologies.We appreciate if you have experience in image processing projects and great communication skills to design and develop web-apps in collaboration with other members of the team. What’s the project and the team? Our German client is a biopharmaceutical AI-driven company, focused on the discovery and development of modern medicines for some of the world’s most serious diseases. Its vision is to evolve data science into a driver of innovation within Oncology.The project focuses on visualization of data & metadata, huge images in the web portal. There is an overview, one can zoom in and see more details, highlight chosen data and forward it. The portal is built on a basis of microservices (~ 20) architecture Node.js. The idea of the project is organizing data to make it accessible, integrated, and re-usable for humans & AI, and building the best data computational tools to support scientific decision-making.You will join the fully remote small (5-7 people) team consisting of experienced a few Senior Full stack Developers, Tester, and supported by DevOps specialized in AWS area.You can expect mostly development of new features (~ 70%) of cutting-edge image analysis software, driving automation and defining workflow standards by supporting the drug project teams. You might be the perfect match if you are/have: 4+ years of commercial experience in full stack development using TypeScript/JavaScript;Solid frontend development experience using frameworks (pref. React, Redux), Solid backend development experience in middleware-based framework (pref. Express.js, Koa.js);Solid knowledge of databases (pref. PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar)Some experience in projects based on cloud technologies (pref. AWS: Lambda, S3, SQS)Advanced English language skills for smooth cooperation;Location in Poland, to make easy signing cooperation offer and, from time to time, team meetings.
