General Ledger Accountant in Bucuresti

THE ROLE As our General Ledger Accountant you will be responsible for: gathering and maintaining accurate and up-to-date data in various systems and applications; ensuring the information is accurate and complies with the internal processes, procedures and scope agreed with the stakeholders; provide reporting, analysis and perform low complexity systems/applications testing, as required for exceptional queries.OPPORTUNITESYou will perform month-end activities.You will prepare accruals & provisions computations and posting.You will do fixed assets activities: additions, disposal, depreciation run.You will perform sub-ledger reconciliations to GL (AP, AR, FA).You will prepare a Balance sheet reconciliation every month.You will prepare NWC reconciliations at the customer level.You will perform an analysis of P&L monthly trends.You will liaise and coordinate with the other departments (AP, Billing, Contract Management &Treasury), to ensure quick and accurate resolutions, as and when required.You will ensure KPI results reach the required level.You will provide adequate controls implementations, as per ICS requirements.SKILLSYou should have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Accountant field.You should have around 1-2 years of General Ledger or accounting support experience in a professional office environment.You should be proficient in working with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.You should be proficiently able to communicate in English.You should have analytical and rigorous with great attention to details.You should have good time management & able to prioritize. VALUESCare about transforming the Banking landscape.Commit to being part of an exciting culture and product evolving within the financial industry.Collaborate effectively and proactively with teams within or outside Temenos.Challenge yourself to be ambitious and achieve your individual as well as the company targets.GLOBAL BENEFITS:Maternity leave: Transition back with 3 days per week in the first month and 4 days per week in the second month.Civil Partnership: 1 week of paid leave if you're getting married.
