As a beginner software engineer, you’ll participate in an Upgrade Program to learn the Mambu best-practices in all the development phases: ideation, planning, design, implementation and delivery in an agile fashion. Ahead of us there is an exciting roadmap of new features and appealing technical challenges for someone willing to grow in a fast-paced environment.
During the program, you will:
- 1. Improve your Java programming skills
- - Actively participate to the intensive trainings- Complete assessments handed out by the trainers- Get to familiar level with Java- Get to familiar level with JUnit- Get to familiar level with SQL- Get to familiar level with development good practices- Get to familiar level with code quality
- 2. Be part of a team
- - Shadow one of the development teams (with support from a buddy)- Actively be involved in the team (pair programming)
You need to have:
- Enthusiasm to work in a team as well as solving problems independently
- Passion for continuous learning
- Experience working in software development from 6 months to 2 years
- Familiar with a programming language (OOP / scripting)
- Aware of basic design patterns
- Theoretical knowledge with SQL (DML & DDL)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
