As part of our strategic growth agenda and long-term development roadmap, we are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking leader to take on the role of Head of Road Freight, based in Bucharest.
This is a key leadership position within the organization — not just an operational management role, but a strategic mandate to shape, strengthen and scale our Road Freight business in line with the company’s vision and expansion plans.
The successful candidate will play a central role in defining the next phase of development for the division, driving performance, reinforcing market positioning and building a robust, high-performing structure capable of delivering sustainable, profitable growth.
Strategic Scope of the Role
- Full P&L ownership and accountability for the Road Freight division
- Defining and executing the Road Freight strategy aligned with overall company objectives
- Driving profitable growth, revenue expansion and market share increase
- Strengthening competitive positioning in the Romanian and regional market
- Leading and developing operational and commercial capabilities
- Enhancing performance across FTL, LTL and groupage operations
- Building scalable processes, governance and operational discipline
- Strengthening key client relationships and developing strategic partnerships
- Identifying new growth opportunities, lanes and business models
Profile We Are Looking For
- Extensive senior-level experience in Road Freight / Road Transport within logistics or freight forwarding
- Proven track record of P&L ownership and commercial performance delivery
- Strong strategic thinking combined with execution excellence
- Experience leading multifunctional teams
- Ability to manage complexity, transformation and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies and cost control
- Leadership maturity, credibility and the ability to influence at executive level
