Role overview
Allianz Services delivers services aligned with the global Digital Resilience Service Line, ensuring that Allianz Group can effectively anticipate, manage, and respond to disruptions impacting business operations (IT and non‑IT), employees, and physical assets.
An important pillar of this effort is Third-party Risk Management (TPRM). As regulatory expectations continue to increase— through frameworks such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)—Allianz is strengthening its TPRM capabilities and building a TPRM Lifecycle Service delivered by Allianz Services.
We are looking for an experienced leader who will establish and lead the global TPRM managed service. You will lead the TPRM team, shaping the service model, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality lifecycle services to Allianz entities worldwide. You will combine strategic leadership, service management, and expertise in third-party risk and outsourcing governance.
What you do:
- Lead the global TPRM service and team, ensuring high-quality delivery of Third-party Risk Management services across Allianz entities.
- Shape the TPRM “Service as a Service” model, driving scalability, efficiency, and robust governance across the service offering.
- Develop the TPRM operating model, including roles, processes, service delivery standards, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Guide the continuous improvement of the TPRM framework and processes across the organization.
- Oversee the delivery of the full Third-Party Risk Management lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding of third parties.
- Guide the consistent and compliant application of Allianz Third‑Party Risk Management and Outsourcing policies across all activities.
- Manage risk and control assessments (RCA) for third-party service providers across the lifecycle.
- Ensure a transparent inventory of outsourcing and third-party arrangements, including supporting risk documentation.
- Be the central governance function for TPRM, ensuring understanding of Allianz Group standards and regulatory requirements such as DORA.
- Provide expert guidance on complex third-party risk topics to senior partners.
- Conduct and oversee TPRM maturity assessments and improve collaboration with Risk, Legal, Data Privacy, Procurement, and Information Security.
- Ensure quality assurance and control oversight across the TPRM processes.
- Ensure efficient operational delivery of TPRM lifecycle activities, including coordination with our teams and external service providers.
- Provide escalation management and expert support for complex risk issues.
- Promote standardization, automation, and operational efficiency within the TPRM service delivery model.
- Establish and oversee TPRM dashboards for all partners, including senior management.
- Lead the preparation of TPRM assurance and regulatory reports.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to TPRM and outsourcing.
- Build relationships with global partners across Allianz entities, ensuring agreement and transparency in third-party risk management.
What you bring:
- 8+ years of professional experience in Third-Party Risk Management, Outsourcing Governance, Vendor Management, Procurement, or Risk Management.
- Experience in leading teams or managing complex service‑delivery environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to outsourcing and operational resilience (e.g., DORA, VAIT, and financial sector regulations).
- Experience building risk management frameworks or managed services.
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
- Experience demonstrating leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities, including influencing senior partners.
- Strategic approach supported by the capability to perform tasks in a hands‑on manner.
- Proficiency in communication, facilitation, and managing conflict constructively.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Experience of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with GRC tools such as OpenPages, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
