We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Lead to join our Shared Service Centre in Bucharest and lead the Professional Services Procurement team, covering Consulting Services, HR Services, and Legal Services categories.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of sourcing professionals, ensuring high-quality delivery of procurement services to our global clients, driving cost optimization, compliance, and operational excellence.
Team & Service Delivery Leadership
Lead and coordinate sourcing delivery for Professional Services categories, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
Allocate work and manage capacity within the team to ensure balanced workloads.
Track team performance through KPIs and implement improvement actions where needed.
Ensure operational compliance and client satisfaction across all procurement activities.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to understand needs and drive results.
Support and, where needed, lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal commercial and contractual terms.
Collaborate with category and business leaders to define sourcing strategies and execute them effectively.
Procurement Strategy & Execution
Drive sourcing goals in line with company objectives and client expectations.
Oversee contract drafting and ensure compliance with standard terms and conditions.
Analyze procurement data and recommend optimization measures.
Maintain and improve procurement processes and policy adherence.
People Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and inspire team members to build a high-performing, engaged, and motivated team.
Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within an entrepreneurial environment.
Build and scale the team in line with company growth, ensuring the right capabilities and talent are in place.
Conduct regular performance and talent reviews, identifying strengths, development needs, and succession opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Procurement, or related field.
6–8 years of experience in sourcing or category management, ideally in Professional Services (Consulting, HR, or Legal).
2–3 years of people management experience.
Strong procurement process and negotiation expertise.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
Experience with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) advantageous.
