Sophos is headquartered in Oxford, More information is available at Role Overview Work collaboratively with local HRBPs and the broader HR organization across EMEA to enhance and standardize corporate HR processes and administration tasks, to improve internal response, and the overall impact on the business. An individual contributor with excellent communication, partnership, well-organized and methodic profile, creative problem-solving, and data skills are needed to succeed. This is a hybrid role and is based in our Bucharest office 3 days per week.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinates and solves all HR requests from managers and employees raised within the internal contact tool Jira.

  • Produces and coordinates all necessary documentation within the hiring and termination processes; this includes preparing the required documents, communicating the details with all stakeholders involved, arranging for all documents to be signed and delivered to the employee and processing all changes in the internal systems

  • HR operations tasks include, without being limited to drafting addendums, operating changes occurring within the employment life cycle, issuing documents upon request, managing childcare leave, paternity leave, background checks.

  • Responsible for all necessary actions on occupational medical check compliance, both at the employment date and annually, before the expiry date for each employee.

  • Backoffice admin for all employee files, being responsible for checking the accuracy of the information, collecting signatures, and archiving documents in both digital and physical format.

  • Responsible for operating all changes within the employee management tool Success Factors upon request.

  • Collects, checks and registers all medical leaves; drafts the monthly FNUASS documents - "Requests for recovery of sums from the state" and "Centralizer of medical certificates"

  • Be the main contact point for audit actions, being able to provide upon request the HR necessary documents.

  • In charge of the local archive; files, updates, stores and maintains local employee files archive in a full compliant manner.

  • In charge of keeping updated the local provider in charge with legal authorities.

  • What You Will Bring

  • 3+ years relevant HR admin experience.

  • Strong analytical skills, well-organized, methodical approach to their work.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Good knowledge of Romanian HR and legal related best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management in a professional and positive manner.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience with SuccessFactors, and/or other people management tools as a plus.

  • A demonstrated ability to maintain positive and productive relationships while delivering results.

  • Advanced skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
