HR Operations Manager Romania & Bulgaria in Ploieşti

What You Will Be Accountable For:

Ensuring a high quality, fit-for-purpose and continuously improving Hire to Retire service for employees in Romania and Bulgaria, including governance of master data, process, service, and payroll and in accordance with the human resources policy and the legislation in force.

This will involve close and proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, eg. HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, Business Process and Systems Managers, Global Business Services, third party Payroll providers and legal advisers.

You will contribute to the business growth through: 

  • Monitoring internal HR systems, databases accuracy, and employees’ files archives.
  • Implementing and coordinating the payroll process in assigned countries, being responsible for calculating salaries and bonuses
  • Managing updates of HR policies, procedures, and processes in assigned countries.
  • Monitoring key HR metrics to provide necessary data files and reporting to support business processes and prepare performance presentations.
  • Setting objectives for the HR team in Romania and Bulgaria and track progress.
  • Providing qualitative employee relations services addressing employees’ queries and acting as an adviser to managers and staff regarding policies and procedures.
  • Providing subject matter expertise as required for key Hire to Retire activities and business projects.
  • Working with stakeholders to implement sustainable governance processes for data, process, service, systems.
  • Managing in-country local Rewards related vendors - benefits, fleet administration partners, payroll, etc.
  • Representing the company in relationship with authorities.

  • University Bachelor’s degree - in Human Resources Management or relevant field would be a plus.
  • Postgraduate in HR or business qualification represent an advantage
  • Proven work experience as an HR Operations Manager, min 3 years.
  • Up to date knowledge about labor law and payroll.
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems
  • Excellent communication, advising and building relationship skills, based on empathy and diversity understanding.
  • Curios and eager to learn new things and apply new processes or initiate processes improvement proposals.
  • Analytical thought to be able to resolve a variety of complex situations.
  • Team management skills and a reliable team player.
  • Excellent English language skills.
