About Ceragon

Ceragon Networks is a global leader in wireless backhaul solutions, providing innovative and reliable connectivity to enterprises and service providers worldwide. Our mission is to enable the world's leading wireless networks to deliver robust, high-performance solutions that ensure seamless and efficient communications across diverse industries.

About the Department

The Private Networks Line of Business at Ceragon Networks specializes in integrating best-of-breed partner technologies and solutions to architect and deliver comprehensive, tailor-made connectivity solutions for enterprise and operator customers. Our focus is on identifying optimal technology combinations, validating integration approaches, and demonstrating how diverse ecosystem partners can work together seamlessly. We push the boundaries of what's possible across 4G/5G, IoT/M2M, machine learning, RF/mmWave, network security, virtualization, and emerging wireless technologies—translating innovation into real-world deployments that solve complex customer challenges.

Position Overview

We seek an Innovation Labs Expert to drive advanced technical innovation, prototype complex multi-vendor solutions, and collaborate closely with our Solution Architects and regional sales teams to deliver proof-of-concepts and customer-facing demonstrations that validate next-generation wireless architectures.

This is a highly technical individual contributor role for an engineer with 10+ years of hands-on expertise in telecom systems, who thrives in a small, determined team environment and can independently own the full lifecycle of lab initiatives—from concept through field validation. As a member of the innovation labs team, you will serve as a technical authority for the Private Networks Line of Business, combining deep protocol knowledge, broad technology mastery, and the ability to synthesize insights into compelling customer narratives that drive business impact.

This role is ideal for someone motivated by technical innovation and the challenge of solving complex integration problems. If you find genuine satisfaction in pushing technology boundaries, mastering difficult technical domains, and delivering solutions that matter to customers, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Technical Development & Innovation

  • Architect, prototype, and validate complex multi-vendor integration scenarios, identifying optimal technology combinations and demonstrating seamless interoperability across diverse ecosystem partners
  • Conduct deep research on emerging wireless technologies (5G SA/NSA, private networks, network slicing, ML-driven optimization, advanced RF/mmWave, satellite integration, network security paradigms) to stay ahead of industry trends and inform integration strategies
  • Design and execute rigorous testing protocols—including system validation, feature testing, UAT, interoperability testing (IOT), protocol-layer analysis, fault replication, and performance benchmarking—across 4G/5G stacks, point-to-point/multipoint wireless, WiFi, proprietary protocols, mmWave, and emerging technologies
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues at the protocol, architecture, and deployment levels; replicate field-identified problems in controlled lab environments and develop solutions, workarounds, or escalations to vendor engineering teams
  • Customer-Focused Solution Development & Technical Authority

  • Collaborate closely with regional Solution Architects and sales teams to translate customer requirements into lab-validated proof-of-concepts that demonstrate technical feasibility, architecture alignment, and performance metrics
  • Lead end-to-end PoC development, working in tandem with Solution Architects to ensure alignment with customer business objectives and optimal integration strategies
  • Serve as the technical authority for the Private Networks Line of Business, providing deep expertise and authoritative guidance on multi-vendor architecture, integration approaches, and technology decisions
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and live demonstrations to customers—both remote and on-site—that effectively communicate architecture decisions, integration methodology, feature capabilities, performance metrics, and business value
  • Conduct technical deep-dives with Solution Architects and customers to validate integration points, identify optimization opportunities, and ensure solution fit before field deployment
  • Lab Operations & Strategic Execution

  • Own all aspects of lab implementation and commissioning—equipment procurement coordination, configuration, integration workflows, and optimization to ensure labs remain state-of-the-art for multi-vendor testing
  • Maintain comprehensive lab documentation, including test procedures, integration architectures, interoperability findings, lessons learned, and best practices that enable knowledge transfer and continuous improvement
  • Drive continuous methodological improvement in testing rigor, lab efficiency, and innovation processes; establish standards for multi-vendor integration validation, protocol analysis, and interoperability verification
  • Support field deployment activities in partnership with the systems engineering team, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and rapid issue resolution in live customer environments
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, product engineering, and senior management to share findings, insights, and strategic recommendations that inform go-to-market decisions and customer solution strategies
  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work effectively within a small, determined team environment, combining independent technical depth with seamless cross-functional collaboration—particularly with Solution Architects and regional sales
  • Support and mentor team members in advanced technical practices, lab methodologies, and problem-solving approaches
  • Drive technical excellence and continuous learning across the organization
  • Job Requirements
