Intern - Process Engineer in Lugoj

We have an opportunity for an Intern - Process Engineer position with Honeywell in Lugoj. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager, you will gain valuable experience in manufacturing processes while supporting the team in managing and executing day to day activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about manufacturing process parameters and technologies and the overall customer specification and standard compliance.

This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This is a full-on site working schedule; however, we are flexible from this point of view.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development of technical specifications for equipment and processing materials.
  • Supports the evaluation of production equipment and devices.
  • Utilizes established organizational procedures to analyze product and process data.
  • Contributes to the integration of new technologies within Honeywell Life Safety Romania.
  • Participates in documenting new processes within the relevant operational area.
  • Enhances manufacturing process parameters within the product portfolio.
  • Monitors process parameters and the operation of production equipment across different product types and families.
  • Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's level program at a university or graduated within the past 12 months, preferably Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of Applied Electronics.
  • Fluent English (B2 and above).
  • Demonstrate a strong will to learn and thrive in dynamic team environments, fostering a collaborative spirit.
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite.
