We have an opportunity for an Intern - Test Manufacturing Engineer position with Honeywell in Lugoj. Reporting to the Sr Adv Mfg Eng Supervisor, you will gain valuable experience in manufacturing processes while supporting the team in managing and executing day to day activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the proper maintenance of testing systems in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, thereby minimizing downtime and preventing delivery delays.

This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This is a full-on site working schedule; however, we are flexible from this point of view.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend Level 2 operational and team meetings collaboratively with team members. 
  • Contribute to the evaluation of equipment and testing solutions in conjunction with a mentor to facilitate process standardization.
  • Inventory and develop testing models to support operational requirements.
  • Assist in the modification and update of work standards for testing equipment.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for the procurement of spare parts for testing devices.
  • Offer technical support during interventions, either independently or in coordination with a mentor.
  • Collaborate with other departments and sections to resolve production-related issues.
  • Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's level program at a university or graduated within the past 12 months, preferably Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of Applied Electronics.
  • English language (B1 and above).
  • Demonstrate a strong will to learn and thrive in dynamic team environments, fostering a collaborative spirit.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office suite
