Join us in a key role where your contributions will be essential in leading and managing the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX) program, while also playing a vital part in driving Global Controls' strategic initiatives and other impactful projects.What We OfferA great opportunity to come and play your part in one of the most exciting companies in the FMCG sectorOn top of your basic salary, you will also be rewarded with a yearly performance-based bonus23 days holiday plus 1 extra day to do something you love on your birthday!Meal vouchersEaster and Christmas gift voucherFlexible working hours and hybrid working - We also offer summer hours where you can work to have the afternoon off on Fridays!Gym DiscountsA Taste of What Youll Be Doing Work with the Internal Controls Manager to drive an enhanced state of financial and operational risk awareness within the Global Business Services organization and the wider European business.Assist in the management and co-ordination of the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process (S404) across the European Organization to ensure the effectiveness of the internal control structure.Develop remediation plans and the resolution of any internal control weaknesses in partnership with the business providing advice and guidance to process owners.Assist the Business in responding to key control issues arising across the European Finance Organization, undertaking ad-hoc control projects as they arise to minimize risk to the business.Drive an enhanced state of financial risk awareness within the Finance organization through the balance sheet account review boards and through the quarterly management representations letter.Identify, recommend and drive best practice initiatives to ensure that the reported metrics are focused in the right areas to deliver compliance and/or operational benefits to the process.Your recipe for successUniversity Degree or equivalent, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years experience in accounting, internal/external audit and/or supporting a company's SOX compliance program (Big 4 experience a plus)Strong understanding of accounting principles and US GAAPRisk oriented proactively questions current practices and drives improvements.Excellent analytical skills to identify and cover the highest risks with efficient and practical solutions.Proficiency with Microsoft OfficeFluent in EnglishWhats NextAfter you apply, your application will be reviewed by a real recruiter not a bot.
