Job Description:THE GOAL  With client assets of EUR 312 billion globally (as of September 30, 2016), Deutsche Bank Wealth Management is one of the world’s leading global wealth managers. Deutsche Bank Wealth Management offers high net worth clients a broad range of traditional and alternative investment solutions, providing a holistic service for all aspects of Wealth Management. Our Data Tribe organization aims to provide real time personalized offers to the clients within International Private Bank Domain and to deliver them throughout various communications channels (e.g. email / sms / push notification).  YOUR PROFILE  You must have proven experience as Big Data developer with strong programming skills in both functional and OOP using Scala / Spark or Java.  Desired experience in distributed architectures or cloud implementations in enterprise environment.   You need to be passionate about Big Data technologies and the delivery of effective solutions through creative problem solving and willing to develop and expand skills and experience in DB. You need to be an excellent developer, communicator and feel comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the client organization in an empathic and considerate way.   We are looking for motivated candidates that show us:  Excellent experience in developing Big Data applications in enterprise environment 2+ years of relevant software development experience on Scala/Spark or Java programming Excellent communication and English skills Great teamwork with collaborative, innovative and intelligent problem solving Can work under pressure and be delivery focused and pragmatic Experience in financial services  Technically, we are looking for: Excellent on Scala/Spark or Java development Experience with HDFS: Hive, Impala, Files Format: Avro, Parquet Hands-on experience with SQL using both traditional and in-memory databases (e.g. Hazelcast) Good understanding of functional programming paradigms Experience with OOP Design Patterns and best practices Experience with version control solutions like GIT, SVN or BitBucket  Experience with real time analytic applications, microservices and ETL development   Nice to have: Experience with Google Cloud, Big Query, Dataproc, Dataflow etc. Experience with Spark Tuning Understand Oozie + Cloudera stack  Good knowledge on Shell/Bash scripting Knowledge about Kafka Streaming experience: Apache Beam, Spark Streaming, KStreams, Flink,  Practical experience on Monitoring/Logging/Operations (e.g: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or GCP stack for SRE) Experience working with Agile Scrum methodologies  Our values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
